The 38th IDDRG Conference was be held at June 3-7 2019 in Enschede, The Netherlands. The conference main title was “Forming 4.0: Big Data – Smart Solutions“. It was co-organized by the University of Twente and Tata Steel Europe and as such reflected the strong bonds between academia and industry represented by this conference series.All engineering aspects of sheet metal forming were included, such as behavior of workpiece materials, formability, tools, tribology, process robustness, simulation methods and experiments.
